The Batavia Varsity 2025-2026 team delivered a commanding 70-35 victory over Clinton Massie in front of their home crowd, improving their record to 2-1. This dominant performance showcased the team’s balanced offensive attack and strong defensive effort throughout all four quarters.

The game was effectively decided in the opening quarter, as Batavia stormed out to a stunning 24-3 lead. Ryan Brose ignited the explosive start by draining three consecutive three-pointers, giving him 9 points early and setting the tone for the rout. Carson Harris joined the first-quarter barrage with efficient inside scoring, adding 9 points of his own while shooting a perfect 4-4 from the field and connecting on his free throw attempts.

Brett McKeon took over in the third quarter, erupting for 10 points on outstanding shooting that included a pair of three-pointers. His 4-8 field goal performance (50%) and 2-4 three-point shooting (50%) helped extend Batavia’s lead to 59-26 entering the final frame. Carson Harris continued his stellar night throughout the game, finishing as the team’s leading scorer with 23 points on an impressive 10-16 shooting (62%) from the field, while adding 3-4 from the free-throw line.

The balanced scoring attack featured contributions from multiple players, with Logan Roller adding 8 points on efficient 4-6 shooting, and Ryan Brose finishing with 11 points thanks to his perfect 3-5 three-point shooting and flawless 2-2 free-throw performance.
